Programme: 14:00 — 15:30 Drama with students – helping learning, having fun 15:30 — 15:40 Break 15:40 — 16:10 Free Resources for your lessons All the participants will receive complimentary bags and refreshments will be provided. ‘Drama with students – helping learning, having fun’ (David Fisher, The Bear Educational Theatre) This seminar, by director David Fisher of The Bear Educational Theatre, will look at different ways that drama can be used to benefit students of English. The first part will look at activities that can be used in the classroom to supplement regular lessons. The second part will introduce techniques to help students create their own role-plays, scenes or even whole shows. Practical and fun, the seminar will provide teachers with a lot of easy-to-use activities. *David Fisher bio* David is the founder and director of The Bear Educational Theatre, Prague. He moved to Prague in 1990 and has since worked widely across the Central-European region as a teacher, actor and teacher trainer. Free Resources for your lessons (Jana Sehnálková, American Centre of the U.S. Embassy in Prague) During a short presentation, you will get acquainted with the services the American Centre provides, especially those resources suitable for teaching English. You will also be introduced to online tools, such as; American English Online, eLibrary USA and America in a Box. *Jana Sehnálková bio* Jana Sehnálková graduated in American Studies from the Institute of International Studies at Charles University in Prague, specializing at Sino-American relations. She teaches academic writing, US history, U.S. government, and Sino-American relations at the Department of American Studies. She also works as an information specialist at the American Centre of the U.S. Embassy in Prague.
