About the Event

Tactics for increasing the number of women in these fields will be discussed. The panel will include the first female president of the Czech Academy of Sciences professor Helena Illnerová, head of the Institute of Food Analysis and Nutrition of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague professor Jana Hajšlová, and Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Immunology of the Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences professor Helena Tlaskalová-Hogenová.  Designated President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Professor Eva Zažímalová will join the discussion if her schedule allows. 

The discussion will be moderated by Researcher and Head of the Czech Academy of Science’s Center for Gender and Science Marcela Linková, who has  recently returned from the International Visitor Leadership Program on Women in STEM Fields.

 

The program will be in Czech. The program will be coordinated by the Czech IVLP Alumni Club.
