At a special event, the Běhal Fejér Institute (BFI) will present its UpClose project. On the program is the premiere screening of the documentary Am I Czech? by director Rashid O’Neal Belt and producer Chuck Seaton, followed by the screening of the first part of the series The Kitchen Conversations, BFI’s latest effort to lay the foundation for its “communication bridge” in Czech society. The filmmaker, his cast, and members of the UpClose group will participate in follow-up informal discussions with the audience.
The films are provided with English subtitles. The discussion to follow will be in Czech, with English translation provided as needed. Refreshments will be served after the event. The event is organized by the Běhal Fejér Institute, thanks to the support U.S. Embassy Prague.
