Summer of Love started in June 1967 by an open air festival in Monterey. Following the festival, thousands of people started flocking to San Francisco, attracted by the hippie movement ideals and music. By this discussion, we would like to commemorate this important social movement in the U.S. during the 1960s and its impact on the then Czechoslovakia.
The panel will include Vojtěch Lindaur (publicist, Radio Beat), Pavla Jonssonová (musician, professor) and Josef Rauvolf (publicist). The discussion will be moderated by Richard Olehla of the Literary Academy.
