She will examine how the Christmas themes are set, how important they are for marketing and branding. We will also examine the window displays as cultural artefacts. Since the end of the 19th century, the displays have became deeply ingrained in New York’s culture and millions of people, both tourists as well as native Newyorkers, seek them out.
