To commemorate May as Pride Month, American Center Prague invites you to a screening of Milk. The story of Harvey Milk and his struggles as an American gay activist, who fought for LGBTQI+ rights and became California’s first openly gay elected official. The film stars Sean Penn, Emilie Hirsch and Josh Brolin, and was directed by Gus Van Sant. Milk won 2 Oscars for Best Writing and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.
