About the Event

Helen Epstein is the author, co-author or translator of ten books of literary non-fiction, including the ground-breaking Children of the Holocaust, one of the first books to examine the inter-generational transmission of trauma; the memoir Where She Came From: A Daughter’s Search for Her Mother’s History and the last of the non-fiction trilogy The Long Half-Lives of Love and Trauma (January 2018). Her arts journalism includes the biography Joe Papp: An American Life and Music Talks. Helen Epstein’s books are rigorously documented but in their blend of biography, autobiography and history, the private domain and the public record, they read like novels. In cooperation with edition IRENE PRESS. Following the book launch, there will be a discussion with the author and book signing. The program will be in English, consecutive interpretation will be provided.
