The Spring Conference on People and Media will address the topic of artificial intelligence and will seek answers to questions about AI’s benefits and risks. What is the goal of the algorithms that drive AI? Are concerns about AI relevant or unfounded?
Guests will include an expert on artificial intelligence, Josef Holý, who will speak on the topic of information warfare, disinformation and the influence of technology algorithms on our lives; and philosopher Dita Malečková, who deals with the philosophy of technology and also artificial text generation. He is co-author of the Digital Philosopher project, which uses artificial intelligence to “revive” leading thinkers, converse with them and verify the validity of “their new ideas.” David Černý from Czech Academy of Sciences will elaborate on the implications between artificial intelligence and robotics.
RSVP at bibiana.smehilova@pontes-in.cz. Conference will be in Czech and also streamed live via YouTube.
