The most important is the issue of transatlantic burden-sharing, which U.S. President Donald Trump has emphasized since his election. How will the Czech Republic and other European partners ensure that they respect the Wales spending pledge? And how will this money fit in the overall deterrence effort of NATO? How will the current efforts undertaken by the EU help these efforts, and what can the EU contribute in terms of ensuring European security?
