About the Event

GLOBE creates a community of students, teachers, and scientists and connects them to the NASA experts. All members of this international network research, observe, develop their research skills and collect data about their environment in order to learn about it and protect it.

TEREZA, educational center and coordinator of GLOBE in the Czech Republic, will present goals, practice of the program, and its future. During this program, TEREZA will open an exhibition of drawings by children participating in the GLOBE program.

Following the exhibition opening, there will be a discussion featuring Czech scientist Josef Brůna of Botanical Institute and Czech Academy of Sciences, and Jan Cech, a student from Gymnázium in Moravské Budějovice, about their participation in the GLOBE program.
