We welcome you to join us for the book launch of “The Journey to Naval Wings: Czech Americans in the U.S. Navy” by author Daniel Švec. You will learn more about the fate of American military soldiers who were born in the United States to Czech emigrants and served on aircraft carriers in World War II and in the Korean War. The book focuses primarily on two of Czech-Americans – Vice Admiral Apollo Soucek and Captain Stanley Vejtasa.
