Sportegy Futures, EducationUSA, and the American Center invite you to discussion that will take place on Thursday, September 19 at 5 p.m. at the American Center. Come to meet former student athletes that who will share their stories.
Moderator Pavel Šnobl will lead interviews with track-and-field athlete Irena Gillarová, volleyball player Magdaléna Jihlářová, soccer player Roman Kischner, basketball player Petr Heřman, and tennis player Viktor Dušek. The students all studied in the United States on athletic scholarships. During the discussion, we will cover challenges the student athletes faced after graduation when looking for a job. We will also focus on strategies and specific steps that helped them to succeed. After the Q&As there will be enough time for informal networking.
