About the Event

As the Paralympic Games are about to start soon in Italy, we are honored to invite you to a special film screening. In Invincibles, a film inspired by true events, chance brings together three completely different heroes, each facing difficult life situation. Despite the adversity they encounter, they often fight fate with humor — making audiences laugh and feel deeply moved at the same time.

Petr Fišer (Hynek Čermák), the owner of a successful advertising agency who does not believe in the word “impossible,” is convinced he has a plan to save his family. Eccentric coach Robert “Bob” Krulich (Ivan Trojan) has ended his career, as “his world” is on the verge of collapse.

Promising athlete Radim Musil (Tomáš Havlínek) is stabbed by attackers while defending a man who is being assaulted.

This inspirational film about fulfilling dreams and embracing second chances that life offers unfolds against the backdrop of an extraordinary global event. It shows that with perspective and humor, any life battle can be won. The film’s scriptwriter and director Dan Pánek, U.S. athlete Rob Easley, and film plot author Jiří Šindler, will all join us for the screening and Q&A.

Film will be in Czech, discussion n Czech and English. RSVP by filling out the form below.
