About the Event

The 2016 election will determine the 45th President and 48th Vice President of the United States. American voters will also elect one third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, as well as state legislatures, governors, and other elected positions. Engage with former American diplomats and American studies experts for election-eve analysis of the state of the races!

The panel will include: Professor Kryštof Kozák, Department Chair of North American Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, Professor Jan Bečka, expert on U.S. foreign policy from the Department of North American Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, Mr. Robert Kiene, former Vice-Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Prague, and Professor Jeffrey Vanderziel, Department of English and American Studies of Masaryk University. Jakub El-Ahmadieh will moderate the discussion.
