The Americans with Disabilities Act, the world’s first comprehensive law guaranteeing equality of opportunity to persons with disabilities, celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. Soon after its passage governments around the world began writing and enacting their own laws guaranteeing rights and access to disabled citizens.
Today, December 3rd marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). The U.S. Embassy in Prague is proud to celebrate #IDPD2015 and the many contributions of people with disabilities to all of our societies.
