Distinguished professor and novelist Brenda Flanagan teaches creative writing and Caribbean and African American Literatures at Davidson College, North Carolina (USA). Dr. Flanagan will teach a special iteration of Creative Writing at Anglo-American University during the Summer 2013 semester!
Brenda Flanagan is the author of the prize-winning novel, You Alone Are Dancing, a collection of short stories, In Praise of Island Women and Other Crimes, and the forthcoming Allah in the Islands, a sequel to You Alone Are Dancing. She also draws inspiration from the Czech Surrealists, and is currently working on a book about Eva Švankmajerová.
There are a limited number of spaces available for non-AAU students auditing at a special half-price tuition rate of 6000 CZK.
