Another film about a hero – 42 tells the story of the first African-American player in Major League Baseball playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Jackie Robinson broke an unspoken color line in 1946 and faced racism both on and off the field. Jackie ultimately finds hope and allies to help him become a true American legend. The movie stars Chadwick Boseman and is directed by Brian Helgeland.
