About the Event

The list of prominent visitors and writers includes Washington Irving, Booker T. Washington, Marcia Davenport, F.O. Matthiessen, and Patricia Hampl. Philip Roth and Cynthia Ozick, two luminaries of Contemporary American Literature, continued to write in this long tradition. The creative ways of embracing Prague made it possible to create characters and situations that are utterly extraordinary.

The program will be in English.
