Economics columnist and broadcaster Barry D. Wood will explain how Silicon Valley became dominant, profile its innovative companies, and look into the future.

Berry has written about technology for two decades. During three years in the 1990s, he was the VOA correspondent in Prague, writing extensively about the economic transformation in formerly communist Eastern Europe.

The program will be in English.

This program is part of the U.S. Embassy’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) programs in November.
