Which historical presidential elections significantly impacted domestic politics and the direction of the United States? Which elections influenced the role of the president in the political system and in his relations with the Congress and American people?

Join us for a lecture by Texas A&M American history professor Terry Anderson, who currently serves as a Fulbright-Palacky University Distinguished Chair at Palacký University in Olomouc. He will discuss the most significant electoral clashes in U.S. history and will explore their overall impact on American politics.
