Join us for the launch of a new book by historian and political scientist Igor Lukeš. The book, titled On the Edge of the Cold War, examines the U.S. reactions and responses to the communist takeover of Czechoslovakia in 1948.

The book launch will be accompanied by an opening of an exhibition Compatriots in the U.S. and Military Exile for Reestablishment of Democracy in Czechoslovakia 1948-1989 by František Hanzlík of the Defense University in Brno.
