The Board of the Czech International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Alumni Club cordially invites you to the discussion on "Challenges of the U.S. market through the eyes of Czech business leaders".

The discussion, organized on the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the free business relations between Czech & U.S. entrepreneurs.  Do not miss the unique opportunity to have a face-to-face discussion with two of the most experienced Czech entrepreneurs, founders of sucessfull globally operating companies, on how they are doing in the US market.

Zbyněk Frolík, LINET

Zbyněk Frolík is one of the most respected personalities of Czech business and public life. He launched his business with an initial capital of 400,000 Czech crowns and today his company Linet, which is one of the largest manufacturers of hospital beds in the world, is worth over 10 billion Czech crowns. Linet has also expanded into the U.S. market, where it has a very strong position.

Zdeněk Pelc, GZ Media

Zdeněk Pelc is the owner of GZ Media, the world's largest vinyl manufacturer.  In 2015 he received the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Czech Republic.  At the GZ Media company, based in Loděnice near Beroun, they produce gramophone records for large multinational labels such as Universal, Warner, EMI and Sony. Significant part of production is exported to the United States.

The discussion will take place in Czech. Julie Hrstkova, Commentator at Hospodářské noviny and IVLP alumna, will moderate the debate.
